When designing and purchasing product packaging, enterprises should consider providing consumers with convenience in purchasing, carrying, using, and storing. For the convenience of consumers' purchasing, companies combine products of different styles, uses, and flavors into various packaging or combination packaging.
Cheap packaging strategy. This packaging strategy refers to the use of low-cost and simple structured packaging by enterprises, usually used for daily necessities that are widely used. Similar packaging strategy. Sometimes also known as family style packaging, products produced by the same company are packaged with the same pattern, similar colors, and common features, especially with the repeated appearance of the company's CI image, forming a visual stereotype. This not only saves packaging design costs, but also deepens users' impression of such products.
Makeup box packaging strategy change. That is to say, replacing the original packaging with new packaging. Generally speaking, the packaging used by a company or retailer should be relatively standardized. However, when the following three situations occur, the company should adopt a different packaging strategy: (1) the quality of the product is problematic and consumers have formed a negative impression of it; (2) The product quality of the enterprise is acceptable, but there are many competitors in the same category, and the original packaging is not conducive to opening up the sales situation of the product; (3) The sales of the product are acceptable, but due to the prolonged use of the packaging by the company, it may create a sense of obsolescence among consumers.
